Ranger's Apprentice MOVIE!!

It's going to be a movie!! Ranger's Apprentice is going to be a movie!!!

AHHH!

John Flanagan "was still in a state of mild shock when he got another phone call a week later, this time from [Paul] Haggis. 'I felt an instant connection,' Flanagan says. 'I knew he wouldn't lead my work astray and that he'd let me have as much control of the project as I wanted. The real clincher was that he wanted to get cracking on the script right away; he didn't just throw it into a drawer for later."'

Sorry, I just really love that series. Even if I haven't gotten around to the latest title yet.

    Aaaargh! Yet another fantabulous series, of which I've only read the FIRST -- and now I need to hustle and hurry and read before the movies!!!!!

    I love "The Rangers Apprentice" series and have read all 7 books... i had to order to australia for them, off subject... but on the subject of a movie ITS ABOUT TIME!!!!

    I just finished the 5th book of the series. I <3 this series. Can't wait for the 6th one to arrive in the U.S. Omg I didn't know it was going to be a movie until last week. What do you think they'd rate it?

    I can't believe there's actually going to be a movie! But it's taking so long for it to get out! I can't find any info about it anywhere! I loved the books and the movie should be great if they stick as close to possible with the books. My favorite book is The Ruins of Gorlan.

    I have read books 1-5, I just being patient for the 6th book to release.
    Its hard to wait because after reading Ranger's Apprentice its hard to like a different book and get glued to it. I am also anxious about the movie, i can't wait to see whether it matches the book or not.
    It should become a major hit like Harry Potter.

    Oh man I can't wait. As far as production goes, the release date is TBA 2010 (themovieinsider.com)
    Hope they don't botch it up like Fox did to Eragon. I just finished book 5, can't wait for 6, maybe Amazon has it...

    (my favorite book was #4, and my favorite characters are Halt and Erak)

    They were having alot of financial problems so the movie won't be out until probably mid-late 2012. Also I read something about them combining books 1-7 together in the movie.

    My favorite series used to be Harry Potter. Then I read Ranger's Apprentice. My heart suddenly fell for it! I am looking forward to the movie a lot. Cannot wait until the Ranger's Apprentice 12 comes out, too.
